When Karkat returned he continued his job as he always had, but no matter what I said he refused to talk, nothing could make him. He would nod or shake his head but no more than that. It made me worry. I was walking down the halls one day to see Eridan slamming Karkat into the wall. Karkat did nothing but flitch. Eridan kissed all over his face, but again Karkat did nothing. “Kar just say something.” Eridan begged. He looked away before pushing him away and walking off. “Kar! Stop!” he yelled and tried to grab Karkat’s wrist. Karkat pulled his hand away and punched Eridan. “Do wwe have to go over this again!” he snapped and grabbed him and pushed his face into the wall. “You need to learn your place slut.” he hissed. Karkat gave a little whimper. “Go ahead say it tell everyone you’re a slut.”

“Eridan!” I barked. “That enough motherfucker.”

He let go and jumped back releasing Karkat, who just pushed himself off the wall and walked away.
